2006-01-25 8:50 a.m. Stephen King is coming out with a novel about cell phones. More specifically cell phones that some how make humans primeval...animalistic. Stephen King starts out with a lot of what if type questions that develop into plots that eventually become books that are read across the globe by millions. His ideas seem silly but he spins them into novels. And he makes a living at this. He's an exceptionally prolific novelist. He is an exception to the rule. But ya' know this got me thinking, and not for the first time, I come up with a million what if type scenerios and they are always met with rolling eyes and 'that will never happen' comments. But you know what? It's not about whether it will happen or not, it's about whether or not a story can come from it. I'm not a strong writer. I'm a rather poor writer but that doesn't mean I shouldn't perhaps play around with my what if questions and see where they get me. It won't hurt anyone and I won't have to go on to the people who pish-paw me about the things that float around in my head sometimes. It's a thought. Too bad all this stuff I take to keep my mind relatively stable makes concentration hard. Hmm...if I didn't want to go crazy again I almost think I'd like to give up my pills so I could accomplish something, but really? I hate crazy more. I gave up focus for sanity. I used to be so incredibly focused. I really miss that. It was fueled by depression and paranoia and breaks from reality but damn it! I could get things done. See even this post is unfocused! Oh my. Everything is a story. Remember that.
